- build the circuit as per the diagram... and all is well.

- apart from the benefit of not needing to unplug all the phones in the house
- each time you want to use the modem, another feature is that people who
- pickup a phone in the house while the modem is Online will not cause
- crud on the line as they are switched automatically out of circuit by the
- modem comming online.

- P.S. make sure connections to telecom plugs and sockets are on pins 2&6
- as telecom plugs are a 6 pin plug but only 2 & 6 are used in a domestic
- situation.
